What can you do if you want to become more intelligent in everyday life? Accelerate learning with the help of amplifiers of thinking (augmented Intelligence). Augmented intelligence contains many algorithms of thinking that will allow you to build a line of behavior in different situations. With their help you can play the situation in different ways i.e. create life drafts.

Trying to overcome their mental limitations people use various techniques from linguistic to meditative ones. They help but require a lot of knowledge and long training. The way out of this situation is to create an amplifier of intelligence.

The amplifiers of intellect are especially important in solving vital problems which people face constantly. 
Intensified (augmented) intelligence allows you to get life experience without encountering the harmful effects of your own mistakes.

Nickerson, Perkins and Smith in 1985 compiled a list of abilities that they consider to characterize a person's intelligence. That is, in their opinion, the artificial and human brain will differ.


- Ability to classify patterns.
- Ability to adaptively change behavior - to learning.
- Ability to deductive thinking.
- Ability to inductive thinking - to generalizations.
- Ability to develop and use conceptual models.
- Ability to understand.

Human thinking of artificial intelligence (part 1, part 2)

There is one subject area for creating artificial intelligence that has not been solved by expert systems or neural networks. This is the process of thinking.  Marvin Lee Minsky has been long concerned that after major successes in the early stages of research into artificial intelligence, researchers have lost the true direction and are stuck in theories of machine learning.


We do not share the optimism of those people who, on the basis of an expert approach, want to modeling creative thinking. But we consider it quite feasible to use this method as the basis of artificial intelligence at the level of everyday consciousness. Such an approach will make it possible to teach a computer program to be sensible in an unclearly defined situation.

An important part of Data Science is Data Mining.  A well-known expert in the field of Data Mining, Herb Edelstein believes that a successful Data Mining project requires an understanding of the essence of the analyzed activity, knowledge of data and tools, and the data analysis process. Therefore the results of Data Mining largely depend on the level of data preparation, and not on the "miraculous capabilities" of some algorithm or set of algorithms.

The meaning of using Data Science helps in making decisions, and if the solution is wrong, then what is the point that it can be accepted quickly. It's strange that many experts think that Data Mining and Data Science are only about numbers, about math.

Cognitive sciences is about studying thinking. Cognitive sciences include psychology, economics and philosophy. The main cognitive science is philosophy, which studies the wisdom of all mankind and for this reason it is very difficult to understand for an ordinary person. The predominance of programming with ignoring philosophy and psychology led to the fact that today there are no major achievements in the field of thinking of artificial intelligence.

Common sense is a concept that everyone intuitively understands.  But if you think about its practical application won't all so unambiguously.  For example, scientists have proved that people are irrational. But if you ask about the motives of irrational actions, then everyone has a rational explanation. Scilicet there is common sense in terms of the situation here and now and common sense in terms of long-term consequences. But who is able without deep knowledge to assess the immediate and remote consequences?

 

Are there universal rules of common sense? Yes. Heuristics! Heuristics are the rules developed by generations of people regarding the consequences of their situational behavior.

Understanding the heuristics of common sense allows a person to make quick decisions using the experience of all mankind. It is a way to get life experience without negative consequences.

The special significance of heuristics is that they disclose the cause-effect relationships between people's actions and the most likely consequences of these actions. At a minimum, heuristics can serve as a hypothesis, around which additional information is organized. 


The models constructed on their basis allow to predict the result of actions of concrete people and actions based on these actions.

Formation personal models (including assessing interests) is an effective method of obtaining knowledge about people and reducing mistakes in relationships. R. Heiner proved that heuristic models better describe people's behavior in conditions of uncertainty than optimistic ones. 

Our team found a way of numerically measuring personality characteristics on the basis of information about a person's life path. The model allows you to assess the level of internal strength, morality, reflection, physical strength, willpower. And the most important, that heuristic personal models have a strong predictive power regarding the behavior of people in different situations, because they are based on heuristics of common sense and individual characteristics of people. Personal heuristic models are the basis of personal analytics, as well as an essential element of Agile, DevOps, ITSM, personalized education.

Today the creation of a client's portrait is the subject of interest for most companies. In our opinion, the best tool for this is personal heuristic models. They remove limitations inherent in the methods used nowadays. For example, the analysis of messages on social networks provides information about the connections between people, but the cause-and-effect relationship remains behind the scenes.

With the help of heuristic models it is possible to establish a cause-effect relationship between the information available on the Internet (likes, types of likes, videos, outposts, comments, posts) and human characteristics, to personalize sales and even games.

Relationships are a form of mutual satisfaction of the needs of partners on a regular basis. "But I think otherwise!  - And that's why your life does not work!"

The basis of the relationship is the resources that one person has and the other needs. For successful relationships it is important to give each other what is needed and get what we need ourselves. But even if someone knows about this the question of the partner's interests causes at least surprise. 

We often do not understand how much insights can be learned by having knowledge of common sense heuristics. Knowing the general patterns of the development of relationships and situations, you can always know when to enter a relationship, how to save them and when to get out of them.

According to Vladimir Lefebvre's definition, reflexive control is a "disguised control action or a process of transferring the grounds for decision-making by one side to the other side".  The desired result is achieved by indirect influence on sensitive points: motivation of people, their interests and complexes, moral principles, self-esteem, relationships, information support.

Reflection includes the consideration of actions and objects, another person or himself from different positions and with different depths.​ Reflection is especially necessary for understanding situations with minimal information or lack of feedback (people often do not give feedback, because they tend to avoid responsibility for their actions). 

In different areas of life (personal and professional), reflection is developed in not the same way. A person with a high level of professional reflection can achieve success in the profession. But the life success will be qualitative only if there is the ability to build responsible and mutually beneficial relationships between people (reflection of relationships).

Realizing the essence of real knowledge, we can not ignore the psychological concept of emotional intelligence proposed in 1990 by P. Salovey and J. D. Mayer. In accordance with the definition of developers, emotional intelligence (EQ) is a group of mental abilities that contribute to awareness and understanding of one's own emotions and emotions of others.

The authors distinguish four main components of EQ:

1. Assessment of perception and expression of emotions.
2. Emotional promotion of thinking.
3. Understanding and analyzing emotions; Using emotional knowledge.
4. Reflective regulation of emotions to promote emotional and intellectual growth.

But in this list there are no attributes of classification. The components of EQ can be combined with anything - with the development of personality, with the management of personnel, etc. Authors have connected with emotions - after all practically everything influences on emotions of the person. But, if we think about the essence of the definition and the proposed concept, then the word "emotional" is completely superfluous here. The secret is that the management of emotions is primarily determined by the skills of rational thinking!
